The archive aims to educate, memorialise, and inspire future research on this important history.

With a thesis that focuses on the persecution of pink triangle prisoners in Nazi concentration camps, Lewis chose to create an archive that would allow future historians to further investigate the experiences of those men who were on charges relating to homosexuality.
